Odour control
CalFeNitTM removes odours, prevents the formation of new odours, and inhibits hydrogen sulphide formation. CalFeNitTM is a highly concentrated combination solution of iron, calcium, and nitrate. The iron binds sulphides. Iron and calcium coagulate the small particles in the sewage water, which thereby become inaccessible to the anaerobic bacteria. Nitrate inhibits hydrogen sulphide formation, which will only occur under specific anaerobic conditions without an excess of nitrate.
