Polymer Mixing Plant

Afridana has developed a polymer mixing plant for fully automated mixing of liquid polymer in water. The mixed polymer is dosed directly into the feed sludge before sludge dewatering. We have supplied PolydronTM to several municipal utilities and industrial plants in Denmark.

PolydronTM is operated via a touch panel, where the most important settings can be made directly. Based on the desired polymer concentration and the active polymer content in the commercial product, the Polydron itself calculates the polymer quantity and adjusts the water flow accordingly. The polymer quantity can also be controlled externally by the sludge dewatering unit itself.

All types of liquid polymer, regardless of manufacturer, can be used.

The Polydron is maintenance-free during daily operation. No hoses or measuring glasses need to be continuously replaced or cleaned.

Med en PolydronTM you can measure the actual polymer consumption with great precision: A measuring vessel on the PolydronTM is filled with undiluted polymer. The polymer consumption is subsequently registered with a stopwatch.

It is also possible to rent the polymer mixer for a period, giving you the opportunity to fully test the Polydron yourself.TM at your own location and on your own dewatering equipment. The PolydronTM is supplied in several sizes for dewatering from 50 kg and up to 3200 kg dry solids per hour.
